My first contact with this restaurant was without money. I went there some lunchtime, ordered greedily the bibimbamb for take away only to discover moments later that I had forgotten my wallet. So I reserved for the evening a table for two – which is highly advisable as they are quite booked out.

So the two redheads and I arrived promptly on 7:00 p.m. and indulged in real korean kitchen. Everything is very simple, aesthetic, a bit of 60s feeling and some nice bar music. Oh and did I tell you it was sublime? The food is authentic and very tasty, not overdone – according to redhead senior who has lived in Asia several years. M liked it also and was staring shamelessly at the other guests. After a chilled glass of plum wine we decided to go there once a month – it’s not cheap. But I need to try the Monks Fried Vegetables, the various soups, the bibambab …
